Several fragrance ingredients are banned under EU Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009, including:
- Lilial (Butylphenyl Methylpropional): Banned in 2022 due to its classification as a CMR substance. We sell a Lilial replacer instead.
- Linalool Hydroperoxides: Prohibited due to their allergenic potential.
- Certain natural extracts, such as oakmoss, if they contain allergenic compounds like atranol.
For a detailed list of banned ingredients, see the full blog post here.
